TO MY PAD,
as it is almost noon
on this beautiful Friday, morn'
I want to stop and say
to you who are keepers
of the Sabbath Day.
In many areas of the world
it is already Sabbath, or Sabbath Eve.
Here it is about 9 hours away as yet,
and so I thought that
I would stop and visit with
you for a few moments until
I got to go finish up
for the day.
It is nice and warm outside today
and the weather, looks good
for the weekend.
"Hopefully"
as haven't read the weather report today
in the newspaper. I guess that I might
be counting my chickens before they hatch.
A couple of days ago, there was heavy snow
in the mountains, so traveling was bad
but since I do not travel, I didn't
even need to worry. . . did I!
My girl left the Denver area
to go home to the western slope
and she delayed her trip
for those 2 days to be able not
to travel in the white-out
as the snow was so bad
on Loveland Pass
that advisory warnings
kept her from leaving
for G. J.
What has this to do with the keeping of the Sabbath
nothing really, but she is also a keeper,
and I wanted her safe
wouldn't you!
