P. D. F. S.

Where does the time go? Here it is Friday morn' in Loveland, Colorado and I haven't gotten anything of note done all week. . . I must be getting on or something, or I would not always be a day short each week of getting ready for the most special day of the whole week.

So many times I long for the Sabbath to come, and I hate it when I have let so much wait until Friday morn' to finish. Then, as the sun sets over the Rocky's and Sabbath Eve falls upon my home, I feel that ble
ssed relief of another week is nearly over and I can spend time with the One I love the most.

Thank God for the Sabbath Rest that He installed for man to enjoy and keep, to commune with the Heavenly Father, at sundown of Friday each week.

O blessed Sabbath Day Lord, thank You for the Day that You made. . . and God blessed the Sabbath Day and said for us to always, "Remember, the Sabbath Day and keep it Holy as unto the Lord,"

Then, why is it the one day in the whole week that most work, and do not spend that time with You? Why does man do their worst in saying that it doesn't matter what day I keep, when You said, "Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy."

Why do they say, keep all the other 9 commandments and not keep the one the only one that say, "Remember?" Why do they want to forget, oh what a slap in the face of God when we do not keep it as unto the Lord.

Yes, Jesus rose from the grave early in the morn' of Sunday, but He rested in the grave on the Sabbath Day. In many countrie
s around the world, the word for Saturday, is "Sabbath" so why does this ole world of sinful beings think that they can change something that God did not change, but mankind did. . . the bible warns us about this and it will cost mankind their eternal life by shunning our Creator's Identity. The 1st 4 commandments is all about God and who He is, the other 6 are about our relationship with others.

"Blessed at those who keep the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus"

  1. I love the background. It is gorgeous. In fact I was just looking at it for mine but considering it is summer here I decided not.

3 Bullets

There once was a man who had nothing for his family to eat. He had an old rifle and three bullets.

So, he decided that he would go out hunting and kill some wild game for dinner.

As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit. He shot at the rabbit and missed it. The rabbit ran away.

Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel, but missed it. The squirrel disappeared into a hole in a cottonwood treel.

As he went further, he saw a large, wild "Tom" turkey in the tree, but he had only one bullet remaining.

A voice spoke to him and said, "Pray first, aim high, and stay focused."

However, at the same time he saw a deer which was a better kill.

He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer. But, then he saw a rattlesnake between his legs, about to bite him, so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the rattlesnake.

Still, the voice said again to him, "I said, 'Pray, Aim high, and Stay focused."

So, the man decided to listen to God's voice.

He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree, and shot the wild turkey.

The bullet bounced off the turkey and killed the deer.

The handle fell off the gun, hit the snake in the head, and killed it. And, when the gun had gone off, it knocked him into a pond.

When he stood up to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a dead deer, and a turkey for his family to eat.

The snake, (Satan), was dead simply because the man listened to God.

Moral of the story:
Pray first before you do anything, aim and shoot high in your goals, and stay focused on God.
