THANK GOD FOR ALL THINGS

That have happened in my life the last few months.  As I study, read, reflect and delve into the Word of God, those things that were so hard for me, God is bringing to my life/mind, so much that needed changed in me. Sometimes when God tweaks our minds/hearts, it may hurt for a time, but then, He shows us just where He is coming from so, that we begin to truly understand the defects of our own character, and how real He is/has become to us.[Wanting none of the past, but only and totally only what He wants/has for us  to become truly His Child/servant.]

O praise the Lord God for His loving kindness to this ole lady, learning more fully to lean on Jesus.  Thank you Lord, for your love for me, keep working in/on me, that I become only what YOU O Lord, want in my life.  I love You, I  want above all to live forever w/YOU and for YOU.  Thank You, Jesus.

As I was doing my morning devotions, using one of the books called JESUS. today's reading was like each word, had to be read/savored in a different way than ever before.  Each new day, is as if I have never experienced a change/new direction/new thinking/eye opening/heart changing/deepening walk with the Lord.  It is like, a saving of Betty A Callahan that I am seeing.  Thank you Jesus.   

When we think that we are okay, but Jesus by His spirit, shows us that we are not, and we want to know why not, then He has been given the carte blanc to start showing/making/those changes in us, to His Glory, to humble us, to bring about change in us/me. 

Yes, Thank YOU, Jesus.  He challenge a few months back, has and is making such a life giving/wrenching experience/as if I never knew Him before.  Thank YOU, Jesus, YOU have proven to me that YOU are not done with this ole lady, and that YOU do not make JUNK.  YOU make life, abundantly about all and You are Worthy of ALL OF MY PRAISE.

3 Bullets

There once was a man who had nothing for his family to eat. He had an old rifle and three bullets.

So, he decided that he would go out hunting and kill some wild game for dinner.

As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit. He shot at the rabbit and missed it. The rabbit ran away.

Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel, but missed it. The squirrel disappeared into a hole in a cottonwood treel.

As he went further, he saw a large, wild "Tom" turkey in the tree, but he had only one bullet remaining.

A voice spoke to him and said, "Pray first, aim high, and stay focused."

However, at the same time he saw a deer which was a better kill.

He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer. But, then he saw a rattlesnake between his legs, about to bite him, so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the rattlesnake.

Still, the voice said again to him, "I said, 'Pray, Aim high, and Stay focused."

So, the man decided to listen to God's voice.

He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree, and shot the wild turkey.

The bullet bounced off the turkey and killed the deer.

The handle fell off the gun, hit the snake in the head, and killed it. And, when the gun had gone off, it knocked him into a pond.

When he stood up to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a dead deer, and a turkey for his family to eat.

The snake, (Satan), was dead simply because the man listened to God.

Moral of the story:
Pray first before you do anything, aim and shoot high in your goals, and stay focused on God.
