"HOW WAS YOUR DAY, GOD?"

Our pastor has been preaching some power packed messages and they reach down deep into ones heart and are from a someone with a passion for Jesus and His character in his life and wanting us to have that same passion. . Jesus is foremost in the true life of the church, if we allow God/Jesus/Holy Spirit to reign foremost in our lives and share Jesus with all around us. Thank you for bringing this couple into our midst, and teaching us to love Him supremely, bringing life and light into our lives as we serve the Lord God of Glory.

"How Was Your Day, God?"

How many times have we ever stopped to ask Him this question? Most of us, probably never thought about asking God. Close your eyes and allow Him fill you with His Holy Spirit, His abiding love and grace and then ask God,

“How was Your day, God?”

How many of us when asked how our day was, or how we are today, just reply, “I am fine.” Even when we are hurting inside and everything in our lives might be falling apart, we still reply, “I’m fine.” We don’t know anyone who really wants to know, how we truly are. Have you ever said, “Have you got an hour or two to listen, do you really want to know how we are?”

Think about how God must hurt inside when He sees the hurting, sick, starving, maimed, dying & lost humanity, He wants to help, but they haven’t reached out to the Healer of our diseases, the healer of the soul. Have we taken time to go to them and tell them about Jesus, the Lover their Soul.

So - - -

God how was your day today?" Well, I attended thousands
of funerals today, held the wives whose husbands had
walked out on them, for another person. I saw thousands of
children whose arms and legs were gone, lying in the
streets of Iraq, or without food in India, Africa and other
places on this earth dying for the lack of food or water, and
the lack of knowing my Son in their lives. I saw the steal
and grab of mankind, and my heart aches because they do
not reach of for the One who died that they might have life.

"Why is my table full, but the fields are empty of workers
and fields white unto harvest . .

Where are those to labor? Why do we sit around the table
self satisfied with our way of life, so many perishing for
the food of the Spirit to lead them to the Giver of Life.

Where are the laborers? Those who wait for the message
of God’s Love. Jesus alone has answer,. . the lost ones in
the fields are waiting and waiting, for someone to share
His Son’s love for mankind."

"How was my day, God?" My day, was one of weeping for
the lost of this old world, weeping because the fields
are white unto harvest but the laborers are few.

Pray for those at the table, satisfied with life of
non-service will wake up before the harvest, . . as the
laborers are few.

If we long for heaven, but are satisfied with our lives,
. . we are lost. God, longs for us to open our hearts and say,
“Here am I, Lord. Send me.”

God was Your Day God?"

3 Bullets

There once was a man who had nothing for his family to eat. He had an old rifle and three bullets.

So, he decided that he would go out hunting and kill some wild game for dinner.

As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit. He shot at the rabbit and missed it. The rabbit ran away.

Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel, but missed it. The squirrel disappeared into a hole in a cottonwood treel.

As he went further, he saw a large, wild "Tom" turkey in the tree, but he had only one bullet remaining.

A voice spoke to him and said, "Pray first, aim high, and stay focused."

However, at the same time he saw a deer which was a better kill.

He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer. But, then he saw a rattlesnake between his legs, about to bite him, so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the rattlesnake.

Still, the voice said again to him, "I said, 'Pray, Aim high, and Stay focused."

So, the man decided to listen to God's voice.

He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree, and shot the wild turkey.

The bullet bounced off the turkey and killed the deer.

The handle fell off the gun, hit the snake in the head, and killed it. And, when the gun had gone off, it knocked him into a pond.

When he stood up to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a dead deer, and a turkey for his family to eat.

The snake, (Satan), was dead simply because the man listened to God.

Moral of the story:
Pray first before you do anything, aim and shoot high in your goals, and stay focused on God.
